We wanted to have a new deck and a bigger one, our neighbor gave us Todd’s name from Artisan Builder, so we asked him if he can do it, because we asked other builders and they turn us down, I believe the bureaucracy and permits turned them away, but not Todd, after many months our desk was build and it was not delay from him but county and city and coastal approvals. Todd is a great person, very friendly, knowledgeable trustworthy and dependable. He did an amazing job and worked on our outdated kitchen and now it is so beautiful. Great at given us ideas and helping us to visualize what the kitchen may look like. The final result is amazing. We really love to work with Todd and Megan. We were so thankful for Todd’s work, we would recommend them very highly.

Definitely recommend Artisan Builders!!! They did a fabulous job installing tile flooring and fixing several other issues in our bathroom. Hey SLO County neighbors! I just had to share an incredible experience I had repairing and remodeling a bathroom disaster in my home in Cayucos, CA. After renting my house and moving back in during the 2024 holidays, I discovered a small bathroom leak that my tenants never mentioned. I figured it would be a quick fix—maybe just new tile flooring. Did a great job on minor remodel and re- roof job!

We recently had our bathroom remodeled by Artisan Builders, and I absolutely love love love it! Every time I walk into our new bathroom it puts a smile on my face, it is so beautiful! Todd McKinley and his workers were always very courteous and on time, they are very experienced at their jobs and produce beautiful results. We are so happy with our new bathroom that we are anxious to have them remodel one of our guest bathrooms next. Look for pictures of our remodeled bathroom on their website. We have the beautiful large blue tile that looks like ocean waves with white marble for the vanity.

Todd McKinley and his fantastic crew created a space that is not only stunning, but also stayed true to the original architecture and design style of the home. Something that was very important to us. The collaboration between Todd and myself was effortless. A while back we had talked about a couple projects on our home. Fixing our concrete walkway to the front door, so the awkward steps were removed. Adding a porch to the granny suite in the back. We got several bids We hadn’t decided what we wanted to do when, one night, I noticed that the back wall in the office had a black spot? On the other side of that wall is the Master bathroom. Yes Mold! Now we know this took precedent over our projects above! We called Artisan Builders to come out and see the problem. Todd McKinley (owner) came out right away. He gave us an estimate for the bathroom remodel. While talking to him, I asked if he bundled the 3 projects (bathroom, porch and walkway) could we get a break in starting time and price. He was wonderful! They came right away, redid the bathroom, added roofed porch and made a new walkway so I don’t have to worry about falling on step. Artisan Builders crew were extremely, prompt, polite and kind. Artisan Builders were extremely honest and upfront with us. Todd kept us informed daily on what would be happening and when. We were very impressed with their service and skills. Todd and crew are also teaching an apprentice the skills! We think this is very important for the future. We highly recommend Artisan Builders and Todd McKinley. Artisan Builders are a local company. Todd’s grandfather started the company. We a just thrilled with them.
